Shorts and tshirt season has ended. It is time to dress for the weather. It's time to wear the long pants and dress in layers. It's time to bring a sweatshirt, coat, and maybe even a hat and gloves. As long as it isn't raining, and the wind chill is not below 13 students will go out to recess. Please send your children dressed for the weather.

Conferences are Thursday, Nov. 5. If you haven't had an opportunity to sign up, please reach out to your child's teacher. If there are no time slots that work for your schedule, you may request a phone call from your child's teacher for Friday, Nov. 6.

No school on Friday or Monday. Teachers report to their buildings on Friday for follow up trainings. Monday teachers go to Edwardsburg Public Schools for meetings. Students and families, enjoy your long weekend.

Nov. 10 all Kindergarten students will have the opportunity to have their eyes checked. Parents may opt out of the screening by calling no later than 8:00AM the morning of Nov. 10.

At 1:30 Marcellus Elementary students will once again honor our Veterans with a performance in the High School gym. Performance begins at 1:30 and will take about 45 minutes. Please have any Veterans call the Elementary Office to RSVP to Mrs. Kruger by the end of the day on Tuesday, Nov. 10.

Thanks to her 'fan-girl' status and her love of Michigan Chillers, Mrs. B entered Marcellus Elementary in a drawing to meet Jonathon Rand and WE WON! So on Nov. 16 Jonathon Rand will be here. ALL students will be gifted a book from Author Rand, purchased with principal's fund money that you all fundraised for the 2025 Wildcat Walk.

Monday, Nov. 23 are picture retakes and GSRP pictures. Smile pretty!!!
