MAP testing will begin on Thursday May 7th. Please see the schedule below. May is a busy time at St. Catherine and we did our best to balance MAP testing with many upcoming events, assemblies, celebrations, etc.

If you already know your child will be absent during one of these testing periods, please email their homeroom teacher. Makeups will be scheduled throughout the testing window and the week of 5/25, before the testing window closes on 5/29.

Please email Caitlin Elsner with any questions. We appreciate your support in making sure your students have a good breakfast and enough sleep the night before to show what they know on these final MAP tests of the year!

The spring MAP tests provide us with helpful data for current and future teachers. Their scores will also dictate their summer learning plan on IXL, allowing your child to improve in areas specific to them.

7th Graders are asking all the students to donate baby supplies, such as baby food, small stuffed animals and baby formula to the Little Gym and to the bins at school.

Attention parents! Do you have a special skill or activity you'd like to share with a mixed group of Kindergarten-5th graders? Our 3rd Annual K-5 Elective Day is coming up and we're looking for a few parents to lead an activity, game, or class with a group of students. Electives offered in the past range from beading to American Sign Language to tie dye and everything in between! You must be available on Wednesday 6/10 sometime between 9:15am-1:30pm. Looking for volunteers to commit to leading at least two 40 minute sessions that day.

We are offering 8 weeks of Summer Camp for current Early Learning - 3rd Grade students.

You can register your child for any (or all) of the weeks, and choose between the half day program, 9am-12pm, or the full day program, 9am-3pm. Stay tuned, daily camp registration will open in June 2026.

To sign up your child, please log into your FinalSite Parent Portal and complete the Summer Program Registration Form located in the "Optional Steps" of your child's enrollment checklist. If your family is not returning to St. Catherine School for the 2026-2027 school year and you want your child to attend Summer Camp, please contact Amanda for a registration form.

Payment is due at the time of registration. You will be required to pay in full once the registration form is complete. No refunds for cancellations after March 31st, 2026.

Get ready for a fun and energetic week of volleyball at St. C’s! The LCS Volleyball Camp - hosted right here at St. Catherine School - is open to rising 4th-9th graders and is the perfect way for players to build skills, confidence, and love for the game.

Led by experienced coaches (and familiar faces from our own community!), this camp focuses on fundamentals, game play, and teamwork in a positive and supportive environment. Whether your athlete is new to volleyball or looking to sharpen their skills, there’s something for everyone.

Come learn, play, and have fun with friends this summer—we’d love to see you there!

St. Catherine School is now using MobileServe to track and report volunteer hours. Parents & middle school students will log their hours directly through the MobileServe platform.

Action Required: Please review the attached Getting Started Guide for step-by-step instructions on setting up your account and submitting hours. Each family can set-up only 1 account to record their required 40 volunteer hours.

Note: We will no longer accept paper volunteer hour forms. All hours must be submitted through MobileServe.

Tim Sherman reaching out. I've been the guitar and stringed instrument instructor at Metropolitan Music in Maple Leaf since 2005. I wanted to pass along that I currently have some openings on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays in case any students / parents are interested.

Over the years I've taught dozens of St. Catherine students and parents and they are always welcome in my music studio.
