The News The News

We've reached the final week of school year! I hope you all have a fun and relaxing summer vacation. We still have work to do this week at school. Final exams are Monday and Tuesday. Our varsity athletic banquet is Monday night at Northwest. The rest of the week will be devoted to the Class of 2026- Senior Awards Night, Senior Breakfast and Graduation!

It's looking like the weather may force graduation indoors. We will not make a final decision until Wednesday afternoon. We will post alternate plans on our school Facebook page and send out a separate email as well.

On June 10 we will offer a full day of ACT Prep on our campus. This is open to any PCHS student who is motivated to achieve a higher score on the ACT. If you plan on attending please reach out to me via phone call or email just so I can have an idea of how many to expect. We will offer this high quality instruction whether it is one person or 20.

Most of our sports teams have been chosen for the 2026-27 school year. Summer practice, workouts, and play dates will begin next week. If you made a team, you are expected to be a workouts, practice and games. We have designated two full weeks during the summer where coaches can have no contact with players- one in June and one in July. This gives students the opportunity to have a summer and not be consumed with sports. It's a time for vacations, relaxation and rejuvenation for our players and coaches alike. It also gives parents a break.

Have A Great Week!

Senator Larry Stutts visited our campus on Monday to speak with our Bobcat Leadership Academy. We were extremely proud to have a state leader on our campus and speak to our students in such a personal manner.
