Principal's News

On Thursday, we had a very special server in the cafeteria! Superintendent Granatino (also known as "Super G") served pizza to our students. Super G did a SUPER job at making sure everyone had exactly what they wanted on their lunch tray. He truly is our hero!

PTO NEWS

MES LIVE!

We are so excited to announce that our annual Talent Show is back on Friday 3/24 and will be

held at Marshfield High School! Sign-up sheets for acts and volunteer opportunities were sent

via PTBoard email earlier this week.

Get ready to see your name in lights!

Do you own a local business or know someone who does? MES LOVES LOCAL and we are actively seeking Boosterthon sponsors. We have a working list of business to contact; please reach out to us directly through ptomartinson@gmail.com to volunteer or to become a sponsor!

Speaking of volunteering, we have urgent need for an Enrichment Coordinator for grades 3-5 for the remainder of the year. Many, many thanks to Allie Devaney for all the time and effort she has spent shaping this role and bringing amazing programming to our children! She has definitely set her replacement up for success!

Library News

This week (and last) I had the pleasure to meet all the students at Martinson as their new substitute librarian, Margot Jungling. Thank you all for the very warm welcome. I look forward to getting to know all of you over the course of the rest of the school year. This week in the library, to celebrate Black History Month, we are reading "Mae Among the Stars." This story is inspired by the life of Dr. Mae Jemison, the first Black woman to travel into space.
