Science Department Happenings
To observe Earth Day this year, our 7th and 8th grade students had an opportunity to take home seedlings native to our area to plant. Students first learned a little about each native species and then they were able to choose which species they would like to take home. Each fall the science department applies for the "Seedlings for Schools" program which is sponsored and funded by the PA Game Commission and the Howard University Nursery.
