Homecoming Week

Today we officially kicked off Homecoming Week, a Scarlet tradition that brings our entire school community together. This is a time to celebrate our Scarlet spirit and pride, and we can't wait to see our students, staff, families, and alumni come together for a week of fun, friendly competitions, and unforgettable memories. Get ready to show your Scarlet Pride! We have many home events this week, as well as Homecoming activities. Scarlets who attend 4 or more events can enter their punch card into a drawing for fabulous prizes. Go Scarlets!

Activities This Week

A great way to get involved and show your Scarlet Pride is to participate in the dress up days and attend all of the activities. Students are reminded to stop at the Spirit Shack during lunches to get points for their participation. The class with the most points will win bragging rights for the year.

Thank you, Student Council, for putting this week together!

Monday - Pajama Day

We are running an Extended Scarlet Time schedule today for door decorating. Each classroom will decorate their door for a chance to win donuts.

We have a home Volleyball game* at 7:15pm in the Gym.

Tuesday - USA Day

The Homecoming Court will be visiting DMMS, Hoover, Bridges, Jefferson, and Roosevelt. Our pep band will be leading the Court through DMMS and the Court will walk the halls at the elementary schools.

We have Boys/Girls Cross Country* meets at Benson Park beginning at 3:45pm, Boys Soccer* at Caswell North at 7:00pm, and a Volleyball game* at 7:15pm in the gym.

Wednesday - Monochromatic Day

Let's play Dodgeball*! The double elimination tournament will be at 7:30pm in the gym. The championship match will be played on Homecoming Friday after lunch and the winning team gets a chance to take down the teachers. Fill out the Google form sent in your email and make sure to pay your $5 entry fee to Mr. Becker or Ms. Baker. Monday is the deadline.

Thursday - Twin Day

Home events include Girls Tennis* at 4:45pm at DMMS and Girls Soccer* at 7:00pm at Caswell North.
