District 25 will send out a TEST message of our emergency alert system on Thursday, September 25 at 6pm. This message will be a phone call, text message, and email. If you do not receive this test within 30 minutes of 6pm, please email our Head of Communications & Storytelling, Adam Harris (aharris@sd25.org).

We will have Parent/Teacher Conferences on October, 23rd and 24th. Parents will have the opportunity to meet with teachers for 20 minutes to learn about their child's learning this year. A link to the Sign-Up Genius to sign up for a time slot will be sent to parents via email on September 29th at 7:00 p.m.

Opportunity for third graders! We are building a student-led welcoming team for students who move into the Westgate community throughout the school year. We are seeking 3rd graders who are looking to take on this opportunity to:

• Make cards & posters

• Lead tours

• Be lunch/recess buddy

• Create informational videos

Help our school earn a $2,500 grant by becoming a member of the ABC/25 Foundation. Westgate needs just 33 more families to join to meet our goal and receive this grant!

After the amazing success of last year’s Social Event & Dine-Out Fundraiser at Get Air Des Plaines, we’re excited to announce that we’re bringing it back this year!

Join us for a fun-filled social event and dine-out fundraiser on Friday, October 17th, from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM!

Cost: $25 per jumper which includes pizza and soda (socks not included).

Guests can enjoy a full 2 hours of jump time as long as they arrive during the event. Pizza and soda will be served around 5:30 PM.

Best of all, $5 from each jumper (20% of the cost) will be donated to the Westgate PTA!

Please remember to bring the attached flyer to ensure the funds are allocated to our school. (There will be PTA members there with extra flyers as well)
