Dear Families,

How is it February already?!?! Valentine's Day parties will be held on February 11th. Communication will be sent by your child(ren)'s teacher regarding what they are doing in their grade level. Also note, there is No School on February 13th and 16th. Just like last year, conferences are in March so look for information on signing up at the end of February.

Please, please, please make sure your child has a coat with them each day at school. It was a very cold week and we go outside to recess if the temperature is above 0 degrees with windchill. My own teenagers despise wearing coats, so I know the struggle. We also have A LOT of winter gear in the Lost & Found. Encourage your child to visit it if they're missing something. Parents are also welcome to come in and look through the Lost & Found and are usually more successful at claiming lost items!

Thank you to Mr. Kuebler, father of Nathaniel and Ella and Mr. Giese, father of Knightly who volunteered as our Watch D.O.G.S. this week. They spent their time in classrooms, PE, music class, eating lunch with their students and recess. We appreciate them coming in and volunteering.

Calling All Parent Volunteers!

Each week, our Neihardt Knights have the opportunity to spend their hard-earned Castle Coins at the Shield Shop table!

We would love to have parent volunteers help out by collecting Castle Coins and assisting students as they shop.

Millard South Patriot Basketball Club upcoming basketball tryouts are coming. Our signup forms are now open and we are looking for boys going into grades 1st through 8th to get signed up for Patriot Basketball next fall.
