Week of December 4, 2022
This month is all about "Our Community." Students will learn about their school community, and the neighborhoods where they live. Discussions about the places they may visit with family members such as the library, post office, pizza shop, Fire and Police Stations will take place. Stories that will be read include the Two Promise Walk, A Day in the Life of a Firefighter, and Little Red Hen makes Pizza, just to name a few.
Mr. John, our AMAZING custodian, is busy getting our "Winter Wonderland" in the school lobby ready. Students will be able to come down to listen to a story by the fire roaring in our "virtual fireplace."

Parent Council
Parent Council is an amazing support to our Johnson ECC community. They help provide funding for Cultural Art Activities, support for STEM activities such as our aquarium, life cycle of the butterfly program, seeds and planting and support for teacher supplies in the classroom and many more initiatives.
