Message from Principal Grebb:

Fall officially begins on Monday, and hopefully, cooler weather is right behind it. We’ve wrapped up six weeks of school with thirty more to go. The weeks are flying by, and the workload continues to grow. We know there’s a lot happening, and the next three weeks leading into the end of the grading period will be no exception. Please stay on top of your assignments and make sure you’re prioritizing tasks for both A days and B days.

As a reminder, we are now in the full implementation phase of the Personal Electronic Device policy. During the first two days, we collected quite a few devices. Students may not use personal electronic devices during the instructional day, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. If a device is confiscated, parents will be contacted to pick it up.

The best way to avoid this is simple: put your device away at 9:00 a.m. and don’t take it out again until the final bell. If you follow the rule, your device will stay with you all day, we know you can do better than what we’ve seen so far. Let’s start fresh and finish this grading period strong.

On Thursday, September 18, we shifted to full implementation of the district's student personal device guidelines. Students caught with a personal electronic device will have it confiscated and returned only to a parent/guardian.

Texas College Week – ApplyTexas Opportunity
During the new Free Texas College Week (October 13–19, 2025), students can submit applications to Texas colleges using ApplyTexas www.applytexas.org at no cost. This is a great chance to explore college options and submit applications if you haven’t yet.

Recommendation: If financially possible, we highly encourage students to complete their college applications earlier through Common App www.commonapp.org. Applying early can give you more time to explore scholarships, financial aid, and ensure everything is submitted on time.

*Students who qualify for free or reduced lunch can receive a waiver for college application fees, so they don’t need to wait for Free Texas College Week to apply.

Photos Photos

Underclassmen photos will be September 25 & 26 through English class.

Senior pictures have to be taken by CADY Photography. You can take them either at their studio in Cedar Park, or they will be on campus October 7 and November 11, 12. Even if the photo is taken on campus, you have to set up an appointment on their website, here. The free session, they call it Yearbook Only, includes the senior portrait in an outfit of your choice and a cap and gown.

You have the option to take more photos with more outfits, but they do charge a sitting fee for those.

Please email kari.riemer@pfisd.net for any questions about yearbooks or school pictures/senior portraits.

Yearbooks Yearbooks

The yearbook order site is open. To order a yearbook, go here. Books are at the lowest price they will be all year.

Senior parents interested in tribute ads, those are also already available for purchase. You can purchase now and turn in the photos and message later--just type will submit later in the text spots.
