Book Blast at Washington Upper Elementary
Thank you to everyone who donated and made it possible to get a new book into every single students hands! The joy the students had getting new books was so fun to see!!
Hobby & Recreation Day at Washington Intermediate
Washington Intermediate invited high school athletes to come teach our kids how to play sports! Fun was had by all! It was a great experience for both elementary and high school aged kids.
Project Safe Prom Reenactment
Project Safe Prom presents a scenario depicting high school students involved in an alcohol-related accident on prom night. Victims are portrayed by student volunteers from participating high schools. The program shows the effects of drinking and driving through the response of EMS, Fire Departments, Rescue Squads, and Law Enforcement, as well as the devastating impact on family and friends.
This concept is one of the most innovative and progressive programs offered in the State of Indiana and is the result of hundreds of hours of planning by dedicated individuals- all committed to raising awareness about drinking, driving, and the consequences of dangerous decisions.
Job Symposium at Washington High School
Washington HS invited students from Barr Reeve and North Davies to join us in exploring future career paths, as well as and job shadowing and internship opportunities.

Ace of Hearts Staff Challenge at Washington Primary
Last month Washington Primary gifted our staff with an Ace of Hearts.❤️ Below is the challenge we gave them to help spread the word about Kids at Hope.
We wanted to spread some love your way! In your mailbox, you’ll find an Ace of Hearts block, along with a poem and some directions.
As we continue our journey through the Kids at Hope philosophy, take a moment to reflect on your Ace of Hearts—the person who has been deeply intentional and loving in your life.
What to Do:
💖 Reflect – Think about who your Ace of Hearts is.
🎁 Give the Plaque – Share it with that special person.
🗣 Explain – Let them know why you chose them and how they’ve impacted your life.
🌱 Teach – Share the Kids at Hope philosophy and its importance.
👀 Model for Students – Show them how to cherish and recognize their own Aces.
Let this be a meaningful way to deepen connections and inspire others to celebrate their Aces too.
Every child deserves to know that there is at least one adult who is always there for them—let’s continue to be that anchor for our students! ❤️
