Parents, We are happy to report that behaviors are improving. Thank you for your support!

1. Keep practicing tying their shoes.
2. Keep extra clothes in a ziploc bag in your student's backpack to use in case of need.
3. Teachers will respond to parent emails within a 24-hour timeframe.
4. If your child brings a home lunch they are welcomed to bring a water bottle for lunch only.
5. Please read our weekly newsletter and reach out if there is any questions.

We sent home conference sheets on Thursday with day and time of your child's conference. PLEASE send it back signed. Please make sure you are aware of the day and time of your child's conference. We will be having early release all week at 1:15pm.

We will be going to Cagle's Family Farm on Thursday, October 9th. Please make sure your child is wearing appropriate clothing. Your child should wear sneakers. If your child is bringing a lunch from home, please make sure to send it in a disposable bag. NO LUNCH BOXES.

Reading and Phonics:

• Identifying letters and sounds
• Letters of the week: (Uu, Gg)
• Listening to texts (fiction and nonfiction books) and participating by answering questions about the texts

Science / Social Studies:

• Five senses
• Fall/Pumpkins
• Farm Animals and Plants

Writing:

• Letter formation using the top, middle, bottom line as guidance
• Writing first and last name

Math:

• 2D Shapes (circle, triangle, square, octagon, rectangle, hexagon)
• Shape attributes
• Positional Words
• Counting and labeling sets 0-10
• Counting to 100 by 1s and 10s
• Counting backwards from 20-0
