Ross Holi Party - This Sunday, March 12

Some of our Ross families are organizing a Holi Party for our community! Come celebrate the Indian Festival of Holi on Sunday, March 12 at noon in Montrose Park. Holi is a festival of color, welcoming spring and a season of harvest. We will throw colored powder, play fun Hindi/Bollywood music, and have lots of snacks and food.

You will get dirty, but the powder washes off. Bring sunglasses and baby wipes, to keep the powder out of eyes. Feel free to wear white, so all the colors on you show! Also, please feel free to bring food and/or drinks to share with friends. Please RSVP here: http://evite.me/3ecMF8TzQ5

Discounted Tickets to DC United Game on May 20th

Back by popular demand! The Ross PTA has reserved a block of discounted tickets ($27 ea) for the DC United soccer game vs. LA Galaxy on Sat. May 20 at 7:30PM.

If your family would like to attend, but is unable to cover the cost, please let Principal Searl know. The PTA has set aside funds to make it possible for more families to join.

Building a Game Library at Ross

We are starting a game library at Ross! This will be a collection of games that families and teachers may borrow. We are starting our collection with game donations from Ross families.

Please consider donating games you may have that are:

  1. In good condition and not broken or missing pieces
  2. For ages 4-12, and
  3. Can be easily transported and stored.

You may drop them off in the box by Ms. Segovia's office.

Please contact Liz Lowry (ptapresident@rosselementary.org) or Sarah Roma (sarahandsokol@gmail.com) with any questions.
