Spring 2026

COMMUNITYLION'S ROARSpring 2026
THANK YOU FOR YOUR TRUST AND SUPPORT:

Dear Lion Families,

Over this weekend, social media posts have circulated regarding a staff member employed by the Lindenwold School District, including claims of an arrest and the presence of news media on campus. We want to clearly communicate that these allegations are false. No staff member was arrested on Friday, May 1, and no news or media personnel were present on campus.

We also want to reassure our community that any suggestion that the Lindenwold School District would conceal or fail to act on an allegation of inappropriate conduct is completely inaccurate. The safety and well-being of our students is our highest priority. In the event of a report involving inappropriate conduct by any staff member, the district would follow all required protocols, including immediate communication with the families involved and, when necessary, collaboration with the Lindenwold Police Department, Child Protective Services, and all other relevant agencies.

Please know that all Lindenwold staff members undergo required criminal background checks prior to employment. Additionally, as part of a Memorandum of Agreement with the schools, both the Lindenwold Police Department and the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office provide ongoing notifications to school districts regarding any reportable offenses involving individuals who work with children.

As a standard practice, in the event of an investigation, the District will not comment on personnel issues, will not violate student and family privacy, and will not interfere with an ongoing investigation.

We understand that situations like this can cause concern, and we appreciate your partnership in relying on accurate information shared directly from the district. Thank you for your continued trust and support.

Congratulations to our very own Mr. Tomaszewski - our VERY FAVORITE LHS Athletic Trainer! This is one VERY well-deserved recognition for one of the best in the game! On Sunday, April 12th, Mr. T. was inducted into the Rowan University Hall of Fame for Athletic Training. This honor celebrates his unwavering commitment, dedication, and impact on the Athletic Training Program at Rowan University. Beyond everything he does for Lindenwold High School, Mr. T has also mentored and guided numerous Rowan student athletic trainers, helping shape the next generation of professionals. We are incredibly proud and grateful for all that he does — both for Rowan University and our LHS family. Congratulations, Mr. T! Well deserved
