Each year, our KR-3rd grade students dress up in costumes and walk in a parade around the school and their family members are welcome to come watch! The parade will be on Friday, October 24 at 1:00 PM outside the building.
Families may watch the parade outside from the main school entrance around the north side of the building to the gym doors, please line the sidewalks.
*If the weather is bad, we will move the parade and families inside the building.
If you would like to have your student's school picture retaken on 10/29. please follow the instructions below from Inter-State Studios:
- Let the school know you would like to participate in retakes. Email your child's teacher and Mrs. Lane at tlane@findlaystmichael.org
- Return the picture package and its ENTIRE contents to the school on (or before) retake day. Parents who ordered digital download products only should still have a Picture Package envelope with a Photo Statement to return.
- The items originally ordered will be reproduced using the new retake picture and shipped to the school four weeks after Retake Day. Please note, if your child is photographed on the original and retake picture days, the retake picture will replace the original picture in certain products, like the yearbook.
- Inter-state Studio cannot exchange your order with the retake picture until the Picture Package envelope and it's contents have been returned.
P3 students and for any students who were absent on picture day should come prepared to have their picture taken. If you have not pre-ordered, please use the Retake Order Code 0117MNF to place your order at https://inter-state.com/Order.

Lost and found items will be on tables near the art room for parents to look through on both nights of parent teacher conferences. Please be sure to stop by and claim anything that belongs to your student. Any items not claimed after the last set of conferences on November 5th, will be donated.
We would like to honor the Veterans in our students lives on November 6, 2025. We invite our Veteran guests to join us for Mass at 8:35 AM and a light breakfast afterwards. If you are or know a Veteran, please open the google form to RSVP by Thursday, October 30th.
The Sign Up Genius has been updated for November and December dates. All those who are VIRTUS trained may sign up to help in the lunchroom/recess.

We are are hiring for substitute aides for grades PreK-1. Applicants for a substitute aide must have a high school diploma and be willing to obtain an Educational Aide License through the State of Ohio. If you are interested in helping in a classroom when we have a need for a sub, please contact Mr. Eckel at meckel@findlaystmichael.org.

Sports Physicals
All students who plan to play a sport at St. Michael School will need a sports physical. Please take all paper work to be signed by a physician and then upload to Final Forms. Physicals must be completed before the athlete will be able to begin practices or play in games with the team.

All families are enrolled in the Family Portal of FACTS using the email and cell phone provided on student enrollment forms. This allows families to:
- check student grades
- access your child's ID number to make a hot lunch account
- track student attendance
- receive behavior notifications
- check the school calendar

Shopping for Dollars orders can be placed online, through the RaiseRight app, or through school. School orders are placed on the second and fourth MONDAYS of the month August - May. Order are usually here for distribution on Thursdays.
