Greetings, Millswood Families! 🐻💚

We made it! This is the final week of Quarter 1 and our last week before Fall Break! Our Grizzlies have worked hard throughout this first quarter, and now we have one final week to finish strong before everyone gets to enjoy a well-deserved two-week break.

🥞 Our First Pancakes with a Principal!

Friday morning, we celebrated students who have maintained Perfect Attendance. It was a great opportunity to recognize students who have been at school every day and enjoy some breakfast together. A special thank you to our Nutrition Services staff for preparing and serving pancakes and helping us make our first celebration a success!

🎉 SPIRIT WEEK Starts Tomorrow!

We've shown plenty of spirit already, but now it's officially Spirit Week!

We kick things off tomorrow with Y2K Day! 📀😎 I can't wait to see the early-2000s outfits—and how many students show up looking like Soulja Boy! 😂

🐻 Parent Club Meeting – Monday at 6:00 PM

Our Parent Club Meeting is Monday at 6:00 p.m. in the MPR, and we would love to see some new faces!Our Parent Club does so much to support our students, staff, activities, and Millswood community. This year, however, we need more parents to get involved. If you've been considering joining or simply want to learn more, please come out Monday evening. Whether you can contribute a little time or a lot, we could use your support!

💚 Friday – Minimum Day & Lunch with Loved Ones!

There are no Minimum Days this week until Friday. Friday will be a Millswood-only Minimum Day, and we're ending the quarter with Lunch with Loved Ones!

Parents, guardians, and family members are invited to join their student for lunch on our baseball field.

Here's a quick preview:

• 11:00 a.m. – Families may begin lining up

• 11:30 a.m. – Gates to the back field open

• 11:38 a.m. – Students are dismissed

• 🌮 Nutrition Services will have a food truck serving Walking Tacos!

One More Week — FINISH STRONG!

Grizzlies, we're almost there! This is the final week of Quarter 1. Check Aeries, turn in those final assignments, communicate with your teachers, and give everything you've got through Friday.

Let's have some fun during Spirit Week, enjoy Lunch with Loved Ones, finish the quarter strong, and go into our two-week Fall Break with a bang!

We will be having our Lunch with a Loved One event on September 25th. Please see the flyer and RSVP with the link below! Our Food and Nutrition Services Department along with our Cafeteria Staff will be providing "walking tacos" for all students for FREE! If families would like to purchase additional walking tacos, they will be sold for $7.00. You can pre-purchase walking tacos by stopping by the Millswood office to purchase your meal next week.
