Welcome to a brand new school year! We are excited to kick off another season of learning with our campus theme: One Team. One Family. One Goal. ⚽
Just like a World Cup team, success happens when we work together. By partnering with our students, families, and staff, we know this will be a year filled with growth, teamwork, and unforgettable memories.

As we begin sharing updates about all things Runyan, this newsletter will serve as your one-stop shop for the most important dates and information. If you ever need more details or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re here to help!
Returning Students:
If you are a returning Roadrunner, please be sure to complete your child's yearly registration verification (InfoSnap). You should have received an email from the district. If you did not, be sure to check your spam folder. You can find directions linked below on how to update your child's registration. If you are still trying to complete this, make sure to do so as soon as possible (by Friday, August 7th), so your child can get a teacher assigned. Please do not wait. Complete this ASAP to prevent having to wait in line at Meet the Teacher Night.
Teacher Emails:
Our teachers will begin sending introductory emails starting on August 4th for those students who have completed their registration verification.
School Hours:
School hours are 7:55 to 3:10 again this year. Instruction will begin promptly at 7:55. Students who arrive after 7:55 will be counted tardy. Doors open at 7:25 the first two weeks.
Early Start:
We are working diligently with our staff to make it possible to open our doors at 7:10 a.m. again this school year. This will depend on staff availability. We will keep you informed with any updates.
First Day of School:
Parents are welcome to walk their student to class on the first day of school only. Remember students should enter by themselves starting day two.
Dismissal:
Dismissal will begin early the first couple of days of school. Please be patient as we work through our car rider line process, as parents learn the traffic pattern, and as bus drivers learn their routes. All car riders will need the 26-27 car rider sign. Our number one priority is for all students arrive to and from school safely. All students will receive a car rider sign at Meet the Teacher Night. Parents can request additional car rider signs, these will be placed in students' backpacks after the second week of school.
Lunch Visitors:
To allow our students to get acclimated to school and to learn procedures, we will not have any lunch visitors until August 24th. Parents are welcome to sign up to come and eat with their child using the same procedures as last year.
School Meals:
Lunch will not be free for students, unless your family qualify. Remember to apply online for free and reduced lunch. Even if your child qualified last year, you need to re-apply every year. APPLY HERE: https://www.myschoolapps.com/

You will receive our Parent Welcome Packet QR code at Meet the Teacher Night.
