Nauset Regional Middle School ROCKS
A Weekly Update from NRMS - May 22, 2026
Updates From The Principal
Hello NRMS Families,
The NRMS Education Foundation was originally established after a successful fundraising campaign to secure the necessary funding to add our amazing Greenhouse that opened in 2019. Now, the NRMS Education Foundation is seeking to expand the number of board members as they get ready to embark on its next exciting fundraising campaign. We are in the early stages of developing a vision and clear plan for adding a Sustainability Lab at our school in what is currently the former Home Economics classroom. The space currently houses a kitchen that students occasionally access as part of some of our classes. A Sustainability Lab would include updated appliances in the kitchen area, expand our hydroponic growing stations, have access to outdoor gardens in the courtyard space, and become a hub of innovative learning as part of both existing and what will become updated courses. We need the help of members of our community. If you are interested in helping us see this vision come to life, please consider joining the NRMS Education Foundation board. If interested, please contact me and I will pass your name on to the board leadership. Please also spread the word to other who may be interested in this important work.
We still really need some help from parents of 7th graders for the 8th grade dinner/dance on June 18. Your support as chaperones, decorations, setup, and cleanup, allows this significant event happen for our 8th grade students. Please sign up today and spread the word to others. Sign Up Genius. If we do not have enough chaperones, we may need to cancel this event and nobody wants that to happen. We appreciate your help.
Enjoy the weekend.

Bus Verification Form for the 2026-2027 School Year
This year we are asking that all families complete the transportation form to let us know whether or not your student will be riding the bus for the 2026-2027 school year. This information will be used to create efficient and accurate routes and stops. Additionally, this will help us obtain accurate contact and address information as we move into a new school year.
This form is required in order to ensure your student(s) are assigned a bus for FY27 school year.
Please have this form completed by June 6th, 2026.
Note: You must submit one form for each student in your household.
