May is Mental Health Awareness Month!
During the month of May, we encourage all of our students, staff and families to show support for mental health by wearing the color green every Monday throughout the month. Green is the official color for mental health awareness as green represents renewal, hope, and vitality. To be seen in green, whether a complete outfit or just a touch of green, sends a message of advocacy and support for the importance of mental health.
For Incoming Kindergarten Students- Signing Day!
On Tuesday from 6:00-7:00 p.m., our new Kindergarten students are invited to attend a signing day where they will receive their "Certificate of Excitement!" We are excited to welcome these new students to Upton and look forward to them joining our community!
5th Grade Vocal Music Concert
Our 5th Graders will be presenting their music concert on Tuesday, May 19, at 7:00 p.m. in our Cafeteria. Please come and enjoy this musical event. All are welcome to attend!
PTA Restaurant Night
ROCK Bands
We will be having our last ROCK Bands lesson on Wednesday morning from 8:45-9:15 a.m.
World Bee Day
On Thursday from 12:30-2:30 p.m., our 4th and 5th grade students will be having an assembly to celebrate World Bee Day. A presenter will be coming to Upton to discuss how bees positively impact our environment.
