WELCOME TO LINDENWOLD WENDY JACKSON
Introducing Ms. Jackson:
Ms. Wendy Jackson is very excited to join the Lindenwold community as the Assistant Principal of School 5 and Community & Inclusion Coordinator.
She is a bilingual educator and the daughter of Dominican immigrants. Ms. Jackson began her career in education and has spent about 20 years working with students, families, and educators in both Camden and Philadelphia. Over the years, she has served as a bilingual elementary teacher, instructional leader, dual language coordinator, and assistant principal.
For Ms. Jackson, education has always been about more than academics. Relationships matter. She believes students do their best when they feel known, supported, and proud to be part of their school, and families should feel welcomed and comfortable being part of that community as well. As someone who grew up in a bilingual, immigrant family, she understands how important it is for families to feel heard, respected, and able to communicate openly with their child's school.
Ms. Jackson is a native Spanish speaker and holds certifications in school leadership, bilingual education, and elementary education. She is also pursuing her Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership.
Ms. Jackson looks forward to joining the Lindenwold family, building meaningful relationships with students, staff, and families, and helping create a school community where every child feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.
