College Recruitment Workshop
Kim Penny from One on One Consulting will be running an informational workshop for student athletes and families interested in learning about the College Recruitment Process. This is a virtual meeting and you will need to register on the link provided prior to the event.

Lily Delafano has made the club soccer Team at Vanderbilt as a freshman
Addi McCarty is in her 1st year playing at Lafayette
Olivia St. Pierre is in her 1st year playing at Columbia
Maddie Dembowski is in her 2nd year playing for Nichols
Georgia Prouty is in her 2nd year playing for B.U.
Skylar Laws is in her 3rd year playing Rugby for Endicott
Courtney Hinchion is Captain and in her 4th year running Cross Country for Merrimack
Krysta Zamejtis is a junior playing soccer for her third year at Salem State
Ashley Freitas made the club ice hockey Team at UConn
- Congratulations to Rylee Sullivan who was selected as the Salem News Athlete of the Week for her 6 goal week. Great accomplishment! Read the article in the Salem News.
- Our senior captain, Emma Sutherland just recently announced her commitment to attend and play at Div. 2 St. Michael's next fall. Congratulations to Emma and her Family for this great news. They are going to be so lucky to have you Emma!
- Our 2025 Team Captain Lily Delafano was given an amazing award this week by the MIAA. She received the District 5 Micky Sullivan Award. This aaward is given to a student athlete that has a meaningful and lasting impact on their high school community. What an amazing accomplishment! Congratulations to Lily and her Family.
The Athletic Department will continue to offer a Free Officiating Course through Ref Reps to get high school students certified to become a certified official in a number of different sports. If any current DHS students are interested Mr. Betts please reach out to him via email betts@danvers.org. The school will pay to get you certified as an official in a number of different sports. Ref Reps has partnered with the MIAA to help increase interest in serving as a high school official.
Will Conklin and JJ Rooney '25
Will Conklin and JJ Rooney headed to UMASS Lowell after helping the 2023 Boys Cross Country team win their first ever state championship. The two continue to have success at UMASS Lowell.
