Ms. O'Donnell Kindness Award
This week, Ms. O'Donnell's parents and sister came up to present a special award to one of our 6th class students. We decided to call this award the Bríd O'Donnell Kindness Award and are delighted that this year's recipient is Rebecca Babajee-Mack. Well done to Rebecca for all the kindness she has shown to every member of the school community over the past 5 years in St. Eithne's GNS. Ms. O'Donnell would be very proud.
6th Class Graduation
Our wonderful 6th class for 2024/2025 had their Graduation ceremony on Wednesday. They performed so well and showcased all the fun they have had through a 25 minute video put together by Ms. O'Rourke. Have a look at some of the fantastic pictures and award winners below. We are really going to miss these girls but they will certainly be back to visit us in their Secondary School uniforms next year.
Raising New Flags
We are very proud to have raised our new green and active flags last week with Arthur. Well done again to all the girls and staff who put so much time and effort into making this happen!

2nd Class
What a busy and exciting time we’ve had in 2nd Class as we wrap up the school year! We’ve been working hard and having lots of fun along the way. One of our highlights was buddy reading with 6th Class – we really enjoyed sharing stories and spending time with our older friends.
Another big highlight was our school tour to Explorium! We had an amazing time exploring, experimenting, and discovering new things. The hands-on science experiments were a huge hit and made for a truly memorable day.
As the year comes to a close, we’re feeling proud of all we’ve achieved and are now looking forward to the adventures that await us in 3rd Class with our new teachers. We’ve had a wonderful year together in 2nd Class – full of learning, laughter, and great memories.
Ms. Wallace will miss us very much, and we’ve made her promise to come back and visit!
Have a lovely summer and we’ll see you next year!

We took part in the egg and spoon race, wheelbarrow race and the 3 legged race (it's harder than you think!!). We also had our soccer blitz. We won 1 match out of 2. On the 26 of june we found out that Ms Trimble and Ms Burke will be our teachers next year. We are so excited for a new journey in 4th Class.

4th Class
It’s been a fun and action-packed month in 4th class. We celebrated national Sweden Day on June 6th where we got the chance to try traditional foods and listen to some Swedish music. We made some cards of appreciation for our wonderful SNA Lovisa, who is from Sweden too.
We also really enjoyed visiting Navan Adventure Centre with our friends in 5th Class for our school tour. We got to play handball, football golf, archery and many other exciting activities. Everyone really enjoyed Sports Day. We had the chance to compete in many races with our classmates. After a year full of laughter and great memories, we’d like to wish all our school friends a brilliant summer holiday. See you all in September for another fantastic school year!
5th Class
June has been a jam packed month for 5th class, full of fun activities and lots of sport. The month got off to a great start in Navan Adventure Centre. The girls enjoyed laser tag, archery, handball and obstacle courses.
We also took part in a soccer blitz where the girls displayed new skills and had great fun in doing so!
We finished the month with our sports day. The girls completed many races including a three legged race and a wheelbarrow race. The day was full of laughter and great memories were made!
It has been a very successful year in 5th glass with lots of great learning, hard work, great friendships and lots of fun!
6th Class
June has been an incredibly busy month in 6th Class and an emotional one too as it was our last few weeks in primary school! We have been busy participating in Active Week, 6th Class vs Teachers Basketball, creating our graduation video and even managed to squeeze in a trip to the cinema with our hard earned JEP money! We spent our last month in St Eithne’s preparing for graduation - which was a huge success and a lovely way for us to finish off our time at St Eithne’s! While we are sad that our chapter in St Eithne’s is over, we are grateful for all the memories, friendships and experiences we have had over the years & are prepared for what the future holds!
Thank you so much for all your support and cooperation throughout the 2024/2025 school year. We hope you all have a lovely summer and we will see you on Thursday, the 28th of August 2025.
