Academic Calendar 2025-26

Our Spring volunteer sign-up is now open! We’re excited to offer many opportunities for families to get involved—whether by helping at the Main Event, the Shamrock Shuffle Fun Run, Spring Conference dinners, and more. Our success is made possible by the incredible families who volunteer their time, create lasting memories, and help pave the way for the future.

(please note that all out of uniform days are optional, and regular school uniform apparel should be worn if not following each day's theme.)

A more detailed list of the week's events will be sent home with students.

Catholic Schools Week is quickly approaching and we are excited to celebrate our school, our faith, and our community! To help make the week a success, we are looking for parent and family volunteers to assist with activities, events, and set-up throughout the week. Even a small amount of time is greatly appreciated. A more in depth CSW Family Letter will be sent home with your youngest student tomorrow.

Sign up here to donate your time, or items for the teacher dinners and CSW dance!

Join us after Mass on Saturday, January 24th, in the Dutcher Gymnasium from 6:00–9:00 p.m. for the School Dance. Please sign up if you plan to bring your child(ren) to the dance.

Pizza slices will be available to purchase at the dance for $2.00 per slice. To help us better plan our pizza order, please indicate on the sign up form if you plan to purchase pizza.

All students are welcome to attend; however, we ask that students in Kindergarten–4th grade have parental supervision during the dance.

Clover Patch Preschool registration is now open! If you have a preschool age student and did not receive an email from the office with registration information, please let us know.

As we enter Second Winter, we remind families to sign up for the Remind App announcements for weather delays, cancellations, announcements. Our winter weather information can also be found here: Winter Weather Announcements

Please make sure students are wearing their coats, hats, mittens and boots as the weather cools back down. Our policy for K-8th grade students is if the temp is above zero, and it's not actively raining, the students will play outside for recess.

A reminder from our billing office that January invoices were sent home with students last week. Please check their backpacks for these and return with payment to the office promptly. If you are unable to pay the full balance, please contact the billing office to make payment arrangements.

Payments can be made by cash, checks (made out to St Patrick School), and online through EzSchoolPay.

What is a School Tuition Organization?
A School Tuition Organization (STO) is a charitable organization that receives voluntary cash contributions from Iowa taxpayers and allocates those funds in tuition grants to Iowa school children, who use those grants to attend one of the accredited non-public schools represented by the STO. At least ninety percent (90%) of the money received by an STO must go back out in tuition grants.

Who is eligible to receive these tuition grants?
K-12 students who reside in Iowa and whose household’s taxable income is at or below 400% of the federal poverty rate are eligible for STO grants. STO grants are not available for preschool students.

Applications to apply for STO are being accepted now. You must first login or create an account through FACTS Management to apply. If you have any questions, please contact the school office.
