Head of School Updates

This Friday, our staff will be engaged in meaningful professional development while our students begin their long weekend. Our paraprofessionals, teachers, and administrators will be working together K–12 to analyze data, learn about updates on our strategic planning for the future, examine instructional practices through the state evaluation system, and focus on strengthening writing across all content areas. Some may wonder why students have Friday off, so I wanted to be clear that our school will be hard at work.

Students in grades 10 and 11 who have a weighted GPA of 3.5 or above and earned no lower than an 85% in all trimester one classes received an invitation to apply to the National Honor Society via email on February 4th. If your child didn’t play a fall or winter sport this year and does not have a completed sports physical, sign up for a complimentary sports physical through our partnership with Beebe Healthcare.

The clinic takes place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 18 at our secondary campus, 21150 Airport Rd., Georgetown.
