Step Into Confidence: "Shoes that Fit" Gift New Shoes to All CVHS Students
This past Friday, every student at Conejo Valley High School received a brand-new pair of shoes, generously donated by the non-profit organization Shoes That Fit. Each pair was thoughtfully chosen based on the shoe style preferences and sizes students had shared with school leadership.
A big thank you to Shoes That Fit for empowering our Dragons to step forward into a bright future with confidence and support.
CVUSD Schools Celebrate Lunar New Year
Last week, Lunar New Year welcomed the Year of the Fire Horse, and our school communities marked the occasion by exploring the rich history and traditions of the holiday while participating in meaningful, hands-on activities.
At Westlake High, the school's Asian Culture Club and ASG partnered with the Conejo Chinese Cultural Association to host a vibrant Lunar New Year celebration in the school amphitheater during lunchtime. The showcase was designed to promote cultural appreciation and foster student engagement through interactive activities such as paper lantern and red envelope crafts.
The celebration also featured live performances and singing, along with the opportunity to sample traditional Chinese cuisine. A heartfelt thank you to the students, parents, and volunteers whose time and talents made this memorable event possible!
