We are officially in our last month of school!! We have been reading a wonderful book called Refugee. To go along with this reading, students will select a project that will require paper, digital, and presentation components. Students will have time in class to work on this, and it will be due the last week before school ends. That is our main focus as we close out the year. In addition, we will be reviewing run-on sentences and taking our last Mastery Connect Post-Test of the year. Our 6th grade classes have been the top classes for all the Edmond schools this year, so we hope to finish the year on top! You should be so proud of your kiddos...they have worked hard this year and come so far. If you have any questions or concerns, please email us.

Students got the opportunity last week to pick one of 10 books to read for the next 6 weeks! They are working in groups reading the book and creating summaries for their book! Attendance is vital during literature circles. If your child is absent, please encourage them to email their group members so they can stay caught up in their novel!
