Message from the Superintendent
October 27, 2020
Dear OUSD Community,
Due to the need to monitor local fires and air quality, all students will continue to engage in 100% distance learning on Wednesday, October 28. Although the high winds have subsided, our maintenance crews are working diligently to clear outside debris, clean, and conduct site safety checks before students return to campus.
We are monitoring local conditions and will provide another update at approximately noon on Wednesday. Grab-and-go meals will continue to be available between 12:00-2:00 PM at each school site.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the extension of distance learning.
Stay safe and be well.
Sincerely,
Gunn Marie Hansen, Ph.D.
Superintendent of Schools
