A Message from the Principal
🎉 Our School Improvement Council Named to the State SIC Honor Roll!
We are excited to share some wonderful news with our school community!
Our School Improvement Council (SIC) has been named to the South Carolina School Improvement Council (SC-SIC) Honor Roll for the 2026 Dick and Tunky Riley Award for School Improvement Council Excellence. Out of schools across the state, only seven SICs were selected to receive this recognition and advance to Level Two judging.
This distinction is based on the strength of our Level One application, where participating schools earned between 85 and 100 points. Being named to the Honor Roll is a reflection of the dedication, collaboration, and hard work of our SIC members as they support continuous improvement for our students and school community.
From the Honor Roll group, up to four schools will advance to the final Winners Level, and the recipient of the 2026 Riley Award will be announced at the SC-SIC Annual Conference on April 18, 2026, in Columbia.
We are incredibly proud of our SIC and grateful for their commitment to our school, our students, and public education in South Carolina. Thank you to our parents and community members who partner with us and support the important work of our School Improvement Council.
Please join us in congratulating our SIC on this outstanding achievement!
Sincerely,
Dr. Goudy
