Dear Families,
Next week is Courtwarming Week at Jayhawk-Linn! Students are invited to participate in our Spirit Days by dressing according to the daily themes. Our STUCO has worked hard to make this a fun and memorable week for everyone.
We will wrap up the week with the Courtwarming Coronation, which will take place after the ballgames on Friday evening. The high school Courtwarming Dance will follow immediately after the coronation. Students bringing an out of district guest will need to make sure they have completed a guest form. Doors will close 30 minutes after the event begins and will remain open for a total of two hours.
Friday evening at JLHS will be especially busy, as it is also Pink Out Night. We will be raising money for Care to Share and will have a tailgate featuring chili and cinnamon rolls with free-will donations, along with a raffle and silent auction. There will be a ceremony between the games recognizing those battling cancer and survivors.
During halftime of the girls’ game, we will recognize our Jayhawk-Linn Elementary and Secondary Teachers of the Year.
You won’t want to miss out on this exciting evening of school spirit and community support!
Have a great weekend, and please stay warm and safe.
