News from the Principal
Greetings WE Families,
The students have been learning about and celebrating Black History Month. Our building is bursting with students' work about the many important contributions of Black Americans. Thank you for supporting your child with the take-home scavenger hunt. Many students have already returned them to school.
Winter Break is here! I hope this mid-year break allows you and your family to slow down and rejuvenate after these cold and unpredictable last few weeks. We are starting to get a glimpse of Spring.
When we return, March will be a busy month. There are several events planned for PTA. Students will finish the third ELA module and prepare for our annual Student-Led Conferences in April. This is always a very exciting time of year.
Don’t forget to mark your calendars for these upcoming Westchester events:

March 12th: PTA Pizza Bingo
March 14th: Holi
March 18th: SLT Meeting
March 19th: Class Picture Day
March 18th-24th: Spring Book Fair
