VOLUNTEER OUTREACH OPPORTUNITY

The Introduce a Girl to Engineering Conference, originally planned for early March has been changed to Monday, April 28 at the Embassy Suites in LaVista. They are expecting around 200 girls from twelve high schools in the area to attend. These young ladies will learn more about engineering through activities, panel discussions and visiting booths sponsored by local engineering firms, and other organizations.

SWE is hosting a booth from 11:45 - 12:50 and we are looking for volunteers to join us to interact with these ladies, and answer questions. If you are interested, please contact Janis Pfingsten at janis.pfingsten@centurylink.net or 402-672-3482.

SWE is hosting a Virtual Career Fair on Wednesday, May 7 from Noon - 3 p.m. CST. This career fair is free to all SWE members. Visit SWE Virtual Career Fair for more information and to sign up.
