I hope you're enjoying a wonderful summer!

As we move closer to the start of another exciting school year, we're putting the finishing touches in place to help make your family's experience at HomeSchool Campus smooth, organized, and enjoyable.

One thing that has always made HSC special is our incredible parent community. Your involvement, encouragement, and willingness to support one another are what make this program feel like home. We're so grateful to be starting another year alongside you, and we can't wait to see what your family accomplishes this year.

As always, remember that all HomeSchool Campus newsletters and important event announcements are archived in your Family Portal for easy reference throughout the year. Simply click the blue "HSC Newsletters | Events" button anytime you'd like to review past communications or catch up on the latest updates.

We're always looking for ways to make homeschooling easier, more connected, and more enjoyable.

Our new Instructor Virtual Meet & Greet Calendar is now available on the HSC homepage😊

These live Zoom events give families an opportunity to meet instructors before classes begin, hear about their teaching style, ask questions, and learn what students can expect throughout the semester.

Because these are intentionally small gatherings, registration is required. After registering, the instructor will send you the private Zoom link needed to attend.

We would love to see families participate! Your attendance not only helps you make informed class decisions—it also encourages our instructors by showing them that families value these opportunities to connect. These Meet & Greets are one of the many ways HSC works to build meaningful relationships between instructors and families before the school year even begins.

We truly hope you'll join one (or several!) of these events.

We've spent much of the summer making improvements and adding new features throughout the HomeSchool Campus website. If you've visited our website before, your browser may still be displaying older, saved versions of certain pages.

To ensure you're seeing the latest updates, we recommend clearing your browser's cache (and browsing history if needed) before visiting the HSC website.

Doing so will help you view the newest information, updated pages, and recently added features exactly as intended.

Choosing classes each year can feel overwhelming—especially for new homeschooling families.

To make planning easier, we've created Suggested Core Class Schedules organized by grade level.

Simply click the image for your student's grade below to open a filtered class schedule featuring recommended core classes. From there, you can easily explore electives and use additional filters to customize your student's schedule. We hope this new feature makes planning your school year simpler and more enjoyable!

Choosing classes can feel overwhelming, especially if you're new to homeschooling. If you have questions, we're here to help! Reach out through our Contact Us page—we're happy to help you build a schedule that's a great fit for your family.

For many charter schools, July is the month when Purchase Orders (P.O.s) become available.

Remember: If you're using charter funds, it's important to remember that a Purchase Order (P.O.) sent to an instructor does not reserve your student's place in class.

To ensure your student has a seat:

✅ Enroll through the HSC website first.
✅ Verify your enrollment by selecting "See My Classes" in your HSC Family Portal.
✅ Then request that your charter school send the Purchase Order to your instructor.

This simple three-step process helps prevent disappointment if a class reaches capacity.

Thank you for helping us keep enrollment accurate and up to date for all families!

Need payment instructions or preparing to request a Purchase Order?

Everything you need is already available inside your Family Portal.

Simply:

• Log in to your Family Portal

• Select your student

• Click See My Classes

• Select Payment Info

You'll find instructor payment information along with any additional payment details for your enrolled classes.

Sending a reminder that Suncoast Preparatory Academy has approved HomeSchool Campus for the Registration Fee, and we are awaiting approval from Cabrillo Point Academy and Mission Vista Academy.

If your charter school isn't listed above, no action is needed on your part — this update only applies to families enrolled through these three charters.

If you're waiting for charter approval but are ready to enroll your student, please use our Contact Us form. We'd be happy to discuss your situation and help you secure your student's classes while approvals are being finalized.

Please don't wait until the first day of classes to log into your Family Portal.

Checking your account now gives you plenty of time to resolve forgotten passwords or any technical issues before the busy start of the school year.
