Mrs. Ariens’ 6th grade students honored Patriot Day by watching an inspiring video about 9/11 called “Boatlift”. It highlighted the heroic actions of ferry boat and other boat captains as they helped evacuate survivors from Manhattan following the attacks on the twin towers. They also worked on “Hero Trading Cards” with the help of Magic School AI.
7th graders enjoyed a field trip to Metamora on Friday. The weather was perfect for walking around the village, mining for gems, riding the train, and learning about the Grist Mill. Thank you, Rachel Schneider, for arranging this trip!
