A Note from Mr. Hamilton, Principal

Greetings,

It's hard to believe 2025 is nearing its end. I approach each year with hope and belief that it'll be the best one yet. I think 2025 has been just that. And, it's beyond encouraging and uplifting in terms of what that might mean for 2026! This is a special place.

December's Leadworthy theme is Responsibility. Let's all do our part in supporting one another and spreading joy throughout Rocket City this holiday season! To that aim, if you need anything from your school family, please reach out to our office.

These next two weeks will be fun, and they will be fast. Please use this newsletter as an opportunity to plan, prepare, promote, and participate accordingly. As always, thank you for your continued support and partnership, and sharing your amazing kids with us!

Cordially,

Cody

Student Cell Phones and other Texting Devices at School Need to Remain in the Backpack in the Locker

Cell phones and/or texting devices can be disruptive to the educational environment. Students are not permitted to carry them during the school day - this includes during recess and lunch. When possible, parents should communicate through school staff. If these items are brought to school and are seen, they will be taken away. Items will be held by the principal until a parent or guardian comes to school to pick them up. Apple watches are discouraged, but if worn, should only be used as a watch. If seen talking on or texting with an Apple watch, the watch will remain in the office until a parent or guardian comes to school to pick it up. Thank you for your observance of this policy.
