A Note From the Team A Note From the Team

Our department has been reflecting on the school year as it is coming to an end and summer is almost here. We truly have enjoyed connecting with so many students and being involved in the fun activities throughout the school year. We will miss our students in 8th grade as they transition to the high school and are wishing them all the best as they start 9th grade. We know they have exciting futures ahead! Additionally, we are hopeful that all of our students and families will be able to relax and enjoy the summer break. We look forward to seeing our current 6th and 7th graders next school year and welcoming a new group of students to Meyer Middle School.

Most of our department will be out of our offices for the majority of the summer. Mrs. Pitzen, School Counseling Secretary, will be able to assist you with any questions or concerns that you may have. Also, our school counselors do periodically check their emails throughout the summer. As a reminder, we do loop with our students which means next school year Mrs. Seifert will be the 6th grade counselor, Mrs. Dusek will be the 7th grade counselor, and Mr. Campbell will be the 8th grade counselor.

Enjoy the summer and see you in September!

Celebrating and Showing our Character

Our end of the year Character Activities were held on Friday, May 19th and it was a big success.

Students in sixth grade celebrated the finale of their Everest Projects by competing in individual and team competitions! It was a fun day for students to demonstrate a variety of skills! Students in seventh grade complete service learning projects around our community and students in eighth grade attended a Career Fair with over 40 booths and participated in Mock Interviews.
