-Soaring Falcons-
October 2026 Edition
Principal's Message
Dear Falmouth Families,
There is so much happening at Falmouth, and we are excited about the progress our students are making! As we complete our fall assessment window, we are taking time to look closely at student learning and growth. Our teachers use this information to celebrate what students are doing well, identify areas where they may need additional support, and plan instruction that meets their individual needs.
Families will have the opportunity to learn more about their child’s progress during Parent-Teacher Conferences on October 19th. If you have not yet scheduled a conference, please reach out to your child’s teacher. We look forward to partnering with you to celebrate your child’s accomplishments and talk about the next steps in their learning journey.
Building strong readers is a priority at Falmouth this year. We are placing a strong emphasis on literacy and are working every day to help students become confident, capable readers. One of the best ways families can support this work is by making reading part of your child’s routine at home. A few minutes of reading together each day can make a meaningful difference!
We are also continuing to focus on the importance of being at school every day and arriving on time. Consistent attendance gives students the opportunity to fully participate in instruction, practice new skills, and stay connected to their classmates and teachers. Missing just one day each month can mean losing approximately 480 minutes of literacy instruction over the course of the school year. Every day truly counts!
Thank you for all that you do to support your child and our school. When families and schools work together, students have the support they need to grow academically, socially, and personally. We are grateful to have such wonderful Falcon Families walking alongside us this year!
Love,
Ms. Hall

*** REMINDERS FROM THE OFFICE STAFF ***
Good Attendance + Punctuality = Success
School starts at 8:15am. Students should be in their classrooms ready to learn when the bell rings. Being in school every day and on time helps students learn more and build strong habits. Please remember to report student absences before 9:00am.
Due to the elementary redistricting and our decrease in student population, we have reviewed our office pick-up policy and are able to extend the cut off time for early pickups. Going forward, no student pick-ups are allowed in the front office after 2:30pm. We hope this helps families in planning for after school appointments. Additionally, for safety purposes, no transportation changes will be accepted after 2:15pm.
