Counseling News
AP/IB fee waiver/reduction application is open:
If your student is taking AP or IB courses this year, you may be eligible for an exam fee waiver or reduction.
Fees may be fully waived or significantly reduced.
Assistance is not automatic—you must apply.
Please complete the Request for Fee Reduction or Waiver Google Form no later than Friday, October 16th.
If you are applying for financial aid, please do not pay yet until your application is processed; otherwise, families not seeking aid can pay now via the Online School Payments portal.
An email was sent from Ms. Wynne on September 16 and again today.

ASVAB Testing
Brooke Point will be hosting an ASVAB testing session here at Brooke Point on Tuesday, Oct 13th. This is only open to 12th-grade students! Additional opportunities for underclassmen will be available throughout the year.
For those unfamiliar, the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) is a test that covers several different categories of knowledge to see what careers you are suited for. Check out this Fact Sheet for more information on what the ASVAB is for and how it works. If you are looking to prepare for the test, you can find a study guide here and practice tests here.
When: Tuesday, Oct 13th (10/13) @ 8:00 AM
Where: JROTC Classrooms (Room 111/113)
Students will be expected to come with a fully charged Chromebook. If a student's Chromebook is not charged, we will try to accommodate as best we can, but you may be sent back to class.
Registration closes Oct 9th @ 11:59 PM

Homecoming 2026
Get ready to celebrate! Homecoming will be Saturday, October 3, from 7:00 PM–10:00 PM. 💃🕺
🎟️ Homecoming Tickets
BP Students: $25
Guests: $30
Non-BPHS guest forms are available in the Main Office and are due September 25.
Ticket sales will take place during lunches from September 22–28.
All dues and debts must be cleared before purchasing a ticket.
Homecoming tickets go on sale Tuesday, September 22nd through Monday, September 28th. If you plan to attend Homecoming, your student dues MUST BE PAID BEFOREHAND.
If you need to pay your student dues or have questions regarding what you owe, please see or email Mr. Booth.

September 16th & 17th: 7:30 AM to 1 PM
September 22nd through September 28th: 7:30 AM to 10 AM

The student dues line during lunches is for DUES VERIFICATION ONLY. NO PAYMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR STUDENT DUES.
Please take care of any outstanding dues before getting in line to purchase your Homecoming ticket. Do not wait until the last minute!

Prepare for 3E Day!
Juniors and Seniors: If you are planning to take the SAT in school on October 13, 2026, please make sure you complete your registration by the deadline.
SAT Registration Fee: $54
Some students may qualify for reduced pricing.
How to Register & Pay:
Online payment: SAT Registration Fee
Cash, check, or students that qualify for reduced pricing: Register directly with Ms. Wynne in the Counseling Department.
Registration Deadline: September 14, 2026
If you plan to take the SAT on 3E Day, don't wait! Make sure your registration and payment are completed by the deadline.
Senior T-Shirt Design Contest
It's that time of year where you get to design the front of your Senior class shirt. The back will include the names of your class members. Please email your designs to Mrs. Maupin by September 25th (maupinbj@staffordschools.net). Designs should include 3 colors or less to keep the cost down. Winners will be announced on September 28th.

Want to show your Brooke Point pride? Our I 💓 BP shirts and hoodies will be available to order starting this weekend: September 27–October 11!

PTSO Is Bringing the Spirit to Homecoming!
Get ready, Brooke Point! We’ll be at the Homecoming game on October 2 bringing some extra BP spirit! Stop by the PTSO table to grab Brooke Point magnets and stickers and get your game-night look ready with some fun face painting! Whether you’re getting a little school-spirit design or going all out for the game, come see us and show your BP pride!
Homecoming is also a great time to become a PTSO member and show your support for our students, teachers, and entire Brooke Point community. Every membership helps us continue providing programs, activities, scholarships, and support throughout the school year.
SAVE THE DATE — Outback Spirit Night
Mark your calendars for our next Spirit Night - Tuesday, October 6 from 11:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m. at Outback Steakhouse! Grab lunch, dinner, or a little something in between and help support Brooke Point PTSO while you do it! More details and any special instructions will be shared as we get closer.
PTSO Appreciation Lunch for Teacher Professional Development Day — October 12
We’re excited to kick off planning for a special PTSO Appreciation Lunch for our Brooke Point staff on October 12, during Professional Development Day. We’ll be collecting food and drink donations in the office during the week of October 5–9 to help us provide lunch for our amazing teachers and staff.
