The Weekly Update #4

School Starts at 8:15 am

The first bell rings and school is open at 8:00 am.

School Day ends at 3:05 pm.

***Please note that if your child arrives after 8:45 am or the leave school after 2:45pm they are marked absent for a half day.

Our first day of school will be Monday, August 26th. Doors will open at 8:00 am.

Students are able to eat a free breakfast in the gym every day from 8:00-8:15 or go to their classroom.

Classroom instruction will begin at 8:15.

***To ensure the safety of our students and staff, parents are not allowed to walk their child to their rooms on the first day of school. Teachers will be at their classroom doors to greet and support their students.

Parent Drop off: Parents will enter the parking lot from Euclid Ave. Line up along the west (Euclid side) of the building only until 8:oo am.

Parent Pick up: Parents will enter the parking lot from Euclid Ave. Students will dismiss on that side of the school or through the front doors.

***If you park across the street, please walk your child across the street to the school building. We do not want students crossing in between cars in the parking lot alone.

Students will come directly into the building in the morning. They can go to the cafeteria for breakfast 1st or go to their classroom. Teachers will be at their classroom doors to greet and support students each day.

Skyward will be used for communication. Please login and sign-up for Skyward Family Access.

1. Go to www.bangorschools.org or your Bangor School’s website.

2. Scroll to the bottom of the website.

3. On the left, under Quick Links, click on SKYWARD.

4. Type in your parent username which is your parent last name and the first two initials of the parent’s first name (no spaces) Example: John Smith would be smithjo

5. Password: BangorSkyward

6. Please change your password when prompted.

7. In the upper right hand corner of the screen click on MY ACCOUNT.

8. Then add or change your email address. Thank you!

September 4th - Open House (From 5:00-6:00pm)

September 10th- School Picture Day

September 17th- Half Day- School Dismisses at 11:15

October 2- Custodian Appreciation Day

October 15 & 17- Parent Teacher Conferences
