New Beginnings, New School Year!

“And now we welcome the new year, full of things that have never been”

― Rainer Maria Rilke

I cannot believe the first week of school is over! What an amazingly calm first week. It's been fantastic to walk around and see smiley students in their new and/or old groups of friends. Others walk around curiously, and yet others still trying to find their groove.

The energy around campus has been fun and vibrant and it feels so good.

My newsletters are to inform parents mostly, but there will also be information for students. Some information carries over each week, but always look for the new stuff.

A little about me: My name is Kristina Juarez. I am a resident in Rohnert Park. This is my fifth year at Tech High, but my 19th year in the district. I am married and have 5 children (2 bio and 3 step). One of my kids is here at Tech and the other one graduated from Tech last year. Therefore, I am beyond proud of being a Tech High parent and employee. I also have a dog named Nala who is in training to be a therapy dog and gets evaluated in October (wish us luck).

I am very easy to get ahold of and respond pretty quickly. If you ever need anything, please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions, clarification, or concerns.

PSAT, SAT, and ACT will be held here at Tech High in October. A sign-up sheet went out. We will also have the ASVAB in November which is optional for juniors and highly recommended to look at strong career options based on their strengths.

Please continue to reach out to me if any support is needed by any family or student. I am here for you ALL through email, phone, visits, Google Chats, Google Meets whichever is your preference.

See below for friendly reminders: Important Dates, Mental Health Tips/Resources, SRJC information, Scholarship opportunities, and volunteer opportunities.
