Updates from your Middle School DLS team!

Welcome Back!

The DLS team has been restructured yet again this school year! Instead of just one person to support the campus, we have a small team for each instructional level. We are excited to be working with middle school campuses and look forward to coming to your campus to train and support you! The middle school team consists of Chad Cochran, Suzy Garcia, Bradford Harris, Hosea Pipkins III, and Ann Waite. Suzy and Bradford are also the lead trainers for the DLS team, so you may not see them around camps as much as you see the other three!

Updating Student Passwords

Student passwords need to be at least 8 characters in length, and should contain 3 of the 4 following criteria:

Upper Case Letter
Lower Case Letter
Number
Special Character (!@#$%^&*)

In addition to the password criteria, the password cannot have the student/user name or be similar to the previous password (which is not specified on the screen). This triggers the LDAP error.

Updating your Challenge Questions

Required: Please update your challenge questions!

This is important for two reasons......so you can reset your password yourself at Aldine Cloud and the help desk will be able to assist you with a reset. If you don't do this, then a work order will have to be submitted from an admin or the secretary.

You need to answer two pre-made questions and then create two of your own questions.

Go to https://cloud.aldineisd.org/LoginPolicy.jsp
Log in
Go to Apps on the bottom
Click on Access Request Management System
Log in again
At this point, the challenge questions should automatically pop up if you need to answer them.

Excuse me, you're who again?!

Because we cover all middle schools, it is more important than ever to have your email signature updated! It is also helpful to attach a picture to your Google profile. In your signature, include your campus name and your room number. If you already have a signature line and a profile picture, thank you... you rock! Having this information really does help!
