Principal's Corner Principal's Corner

Dear BFPP Families,

In this newsletter you will find the much-anticipated Enrichment Class Schedule for the fall of 2023-24! Thank you to all who have helped shape and create what I believe is a wonderful schedule. From the teachers and staff, to the TPEST (The Parent Enrichment Schedule Team), as well as the spring survey, we hope that it represents a significant portion of the input received. This is a true example of partnership in action!

As always, a reminder that this schedule is representative of what we know now. There may be staffing changes and other factors that could affect the Enrichment Class Schedule. By fall we should be adding some things and adjusting as needed.

And....it doesn't end with the Class Schedule! We are re-defining Enrichment to also include all of the clubs, workshops, book clubs, Come and Connect, program events and fieldtrips. There is a lot we do at BFPP that should be considered Enrichment. Next week we will resend the schedule out with more of that represented, at least what we have so far...but for now, let's focus on the Classes.

Warmly,

Dr K

This is a shout out to all families (adults) who are curious about networking with other home learning families to share resources, collaborate on units/projects and/or create learning pods and co-ops for the upcoming academic year. The intention of this workshop is to give space and a bit of starting support to families who want to meet and learn more about how this could work in our community. Please join us if you’re curious about collaborative education models and/or if you have participated in learning pods in the past and have insights to share. Facilitated by Erin & Kate and accompanying families.
