Do you want to build a snowman?

Our 4K friends took advantage of the beautiful snow to build Mr. and Mrs. Frosty today at recess. They should sleep good tonight!

What's that smell?

Please check to see if your little ones snow gear is in need of freshening up. With all of the outside play their belongings sometimes don't get a chance to fully dry out. A good washing and drying of their items will help keep our hallways smelling fresh.

ACCEPTANCE ACCEPTANCE

Throughout the month of January our word of the month at the elementary school has been "Acceptance". Students have been learning to accept themselves and others for differences in appearance, beliefs, and personalities.

To celebrate Martin Luther King Day, our 5th grade friends taught us that even though people look different on the outside, we all are the same on the inside. Just like two different colored eggs; one brown and one white, the insides are the same. They also read us a great book about the color of our skin! Thank you 5th grade friends!
