ADVANCED AND INTERMEDIATE CHOIR IN A WORKSHOP AT DISNEY!πͺπ
On Wednesday, May 27th, members of the Advanced and Intermediate Choir participated in a Workshop at Disney. This workshop takes place in a REAL recording studio.
During this workshop, students learned 3 Disney songs and then went through the same process that professional musicians use to record music! After recording, the audio/video technician puts the music we just recorded with the original scene from the movie, and we get to watch the scene with OUR recorded performance. Such an amazing experience for our students! Then the students had fun in CA Adventure.
A VISTA STAR AT ROOSEVELT!
Congratulations to Mrs. Johnson for receiving a certificate of recognition Vista STARS this week! STARS of Excellence & Innovation is our staff recognition award program for Vista Unified School District. Mrs. Johnson is excellent with students, always caring, supportive, and willing to go the extra mile for our Wildcats and to get the Wellness Center up and running. This recognition is very well deserved, and we are so proud to celebrate this wonderful achievement.
Thank you, Mrs. Johnson, for all that you do!

SUMMER FEST
I invite you to join my free virtual E-Bike Safety Forum on Wednesday, June 10, from 5:00β6:30 PM.
As e-bike and e-moto use continues to rise in our communities, so do concerns about safety, especially for young riders and their families. This forum will bring together experts to discuss safety risks, injury prevention, rider education and training, enforcement and how local and state leaders are working to improve safe riding practices.
E-bike safety is an issue that has come up repeatedly in conversations across our district, and it's clear communities are looking for thoughtful, practical solutions. This forum aims to advance that conversation.
