Good Afternoon Jaguar Nation!

Thank you to all of our Veterans who serve within the Jones community and to those who joined us for our breakfast on Tuesday. We enjoyed a wonderful event supported by outstanding performances from our band, choir, and orchestra. Our students represented Jones with excellence, and it was a meaningful opportunity for them to personally express their gratitude to our Veterans. Thank you to HEB for donations to our event, and Thank you Rock Hill High School culinary for making all of our breakfast tacos!

Congratulations to our Jones Middle School Spelling Bee Champion, Keith Ng. Keith competed against 24 fellow 6th, 7th, and 8th graders and emerged victorious with impressive vocabulary knowledge and spelling skills. He will proudly represent Jones Middle School at the Prosper ISD District Spelling Bee.

Basketball and wrestling tryouts concluded this week, and we look forward to the start of games and meets next week.

Have a great weekend! Go Jags!

Prosper ISD CTE

Prosper ISD CTE Wants to Hear From YOU!

Prosper ISD’s Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs help students discover passions, build real-world skills, and prepare for future careers β€” and your feedback matters!

We’re inviting parents/guardians to share their thoughts through a short questionnaire focused on program awareness, accessibility, and student outcomes.

Your voice helps shape opportunities for Prosper ISD students β€” and you will also have a chance to get involved by supporting our CTE Advisory Committee if you’re interested!

Access the Questionnaire here!

Thank you for helping us keep Prosper ISD’s CTE programs strong and connected to our community!

BEST PUBLIC SCHOOLS IN TEXAS

Named by HEB’s Excellence in Education Awards as the Best Large District in the State of Texas, Prosper ISD has an established 67-year history that is grounded in the humble roots of a farming community, now soaring to the fastest growing school district in Texas, due in no small part to the pursuit of excellence in the arts, academics and athletics. Our students and staff are routinely recognized on the local, state, and national levels for outstanding achievements, and our teachers are highly qualified experts who bring out the best in every student.

ABOUT PROSPER ISD

Prosper ISD is a school district located north of Dallas in Collin and Denton Counties. The district spans approximately 58 square miles and serves more than 32,000 students in 20 elementary schools, 6 middle schools, 4 high schools, and one early childhood school.

🫢 THANK YOU TO OUR COMMUNITY FOR SUPPORTING OUR TEACHERS & STUDENTS

In November 2023, an overwhelming majority of voters approved $2.7 billion to continue building excellence in Prosper ISD. Thank you for your continued financial commitment to our district.

And while our facilities are second to none, we know that it is the people who make the difference in Prosper ISD. From our bus drivers to our teachers to our teacher assistants, our staff is here to support students as they pursue their dreams of excellence in academics, fine arts, and athletics.
