Thank you for your partnership. Thank you for your support. Thank you for sharing your students with us every day.
Cheers to the best school on earth!

ICYMI-We were on the news!!
NBC 10 was here this past week to run a story on the Eagles t-shirts that our very own Ms. Heck has created that not only cheers on the Eagles but also brings awareness to communication and autism. Please find the link to the story HERE.
National School Lunch Week
We will be celebrating National School Lunch Week October 12-16 with our amazing cafeteria staff and a coloring contest. The coloring sheet will be sent home later this week. Color the circus clown page and draw your favorite school lunch inside the empty tray compartments. Don't forget to write your Full Name, Grade, and Teacher's Name at the top! One winner per grade level will receive a prize pack, and winning artwork will be displayed in the cafeteria! All completed entries must be turned into teachers by Wednesday, October 8th.
Homework Reminder
October reading logs are being sent home. 20 minutes a day makes a HUGE impact!
Classroom Celebrations and Snack Order Info
We have had questions about birthday celebrations and ordering snacks for classrooms. Please find the links below for information about the district outside food policy and ordering classroom celebration snacks. Please be advised that the nutrition department requires orders 10 days in advance. No outside food is permitted.
Dismissal Changes & Reminders
Dismissal changes must be communicated to your child's teacher and Ms. Jaimie in the front office BEFORE 3:00pm. This buffer gives our office staff and teachers enough time to safely route your child to the correct location without any last-minute confusion. Clear communication before 3:00 PM prevents chaotic handoffs at the end of the day and guarantees that every student gets home safely.
Parents in the car line for either arrival or dismissal need to stay in their cars. Staff will signal for students to exit their cars as we do not want students getting out/getting in their cars while cars are still pulling into the line.
Volunteers
All volunteers will need to be on the district approved volunteer list. Volunteers are an integral part of our success and our belief that together we are stronger as a district. Please complete the volunteer application and submit all the information requested. All personal data submitted by applicants is confidential. Including a personal email address in your application will ensure you are informed once your application is approved. As part of standard school safety practices, all volunteers and visitors to CSD schools must provide a photo ID each time they visit any District facility.
This is required for parents/guardians volunteering in the classrooms, visiting for lunch, chaperoning field trips, etc.
