Perth Road Track & Field Team
Congratulations to the members of our track team who will be representing us at the regional meet on Wednesday, May 28th at Caraco Field at the Invista Centre! We had an excellent turn out for tryouts and are taking 67 athletes from our school. The list of athletes and events was posted on Friday at school, but students will also receive an individual notice on Tuesday in case they can't remember what events they are doing. Parents can check their child's School Day account to see the event permission, cost and information. Good luck everyone!
Family members are welcome as spectators, to cheer athletes on at the regional meet on May 28th at CARACO field and for those who qualify, at the district meet on June 3rd. Please remember, LESAA athletics are for fun, healthy competition. All spectators at LESAA sanctioned events are expected to adhere to the following:
- Students are the number one priority
- Participation/fun, not winning, is everything
- Fans only cheer, coaches only coach, referees only referee
- No yelling in anger
- Respect the volunteer referees (they are often youth)
- No swearing
- Set a proper example for good sportsmanship
We look forward to a fun, enjoyable track and field season!

Student Accident Insurance
UNDER THE EDUCATION ACT THE BOARD IS NOT PERMITTED TO PROVIDE INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR ACCIDENTS TO PUPILS. THEREFORE, the Board recommends consideration of The insure my Kids plan to any parent/guardian, who wishes to obtain this kind of insurance. Although the policy has all the advantages of a group plan, it is essentially a direct contract between the parent/guardian and the insurance company.
For more information please visit the LDSB website.
School-Day: Permissions & Payments
Perth Road PS is excited to offer our families a secure portal to complete permissions and payments online. With School-Day: Permissions & Payments, you are able to complete permission forms and payments from any web browser using your SmartPhone, tablet, laptop or desktop.
Through this online portal, you will be able to pay for items such as:
- Field trips
- Athletic team fees
- Fundraising offerings
The easy-to-use portal will remove the risks associated with sending money to school with students, the frustration of lost or missing permission forms, and significantly reduce the amount of paper our school consumes.
Follow the link to www.school-day.com and connect to your child’s events and activities.
At PRPS we are committed to working together with all partners
