Good Afternoon Jaguar Nation!
This week, we had the pleasure of celebrating several outstanding members of our campus community. On Wednesday, we recognized Ms. Gina Dale as the Jones Middle School Paraprofessional of the Year and Mr. Ruiz as our Teacher of the Year. I was also humbled and honored to be named Prosper ISD’s Secondary Principal of the Year. It is truly a privilege to serve in a district that values and acknowledges the hard work and dedication of those who support and educate our students. I am deeply grateful for these recognitions and for our continued partnership with the Prosper Education Foundation.
Looking ahead to April, our students will participate in the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR). These assessments will be administered online using district-issued Chromebooks. Please ensure your student's device is fully charged each day of testing to support a smooth testing experience.
To help maintain a focused and uninterrupted testing environment, we kindly ask that you avoid scheduling any appointments for your student on their designated testing days. Students are required to complete each assessment in one sitting and may not leave and return during the testing session.
Please note that during STAAR testing weeks, all students will follow an eight-period class schedule.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support.
