Greetings, CMIT Family.

If you know your scholar will not be returning to CMIT next school year, please fill out the following withdrawal form and send it to the registrar, Mrs. LaPorte, at claporte@cmitsouth.org. This will help us better plan for the upcoming school year. All withdrawal packets will be ready for pickup on July 1, 2025 in the front office. Please be sure to bring your photo ID. This packet must be picked up and can not be email.

Join us Wednesdays and Fridays at 3 PM for the launch of CMIT South's BCF Bible Study. Our Bible Study sessions will be held every Friday throughout the school year and offer a chance for students to engage in meaningful fellowship while deepening their knowledge and understanding of the Lord. Our theme for this year is "Into Deep" and we look forward to exploring its significance together. We hope to see you there!

To CMIT parents/guardians

Please encourage your scholar to bring in their water to school or water bottle for refill. The school nor the nurse's office do not provide bottle water or cups to student.

If you know your child is experiencing any of the flu- like symptoms please monitor him/her before sending to school. COVID is still around

If you are interested in trying out for the high school volleyball team for next school year, please read the important information below.

Girls' high school volleyball begins in the summer, BEFORE the school year starts. Tryouts take place at the beginning of August, and practices start immediately after tryouts. Anyone interested in playing MUST attend tryouts on the given dates; there are NO MAKEUP DATES. Any player who makes the team is expected to attend practice every day during the season and all games. All athletes must have an athletic physical on file to tryout.

Volleyball is a BIG commitment from players and parents/guardians because of the summer start, so please begin making plans now if you wish to tryout. Read below for further information, and contact Coach Sears (asears@cmitsouth.org) if you have any further questions. (Please note: Tryout times are tentative. For the most up-to-date information, follow the team's Instagram account @cmitsouthvb.)

Dear CMIT South Parents and Community,

We are thrilled to announce the CMIT South 2nd Soccer Tournament — an exciting event for our middle and high school students to showcase their skills, have fun, and help raise funds for our soccer program!

Tournament Dates:
May 20, 22, 27 and 29.
Location: CMIT South Outdoor Soccer Field
Middle School (2 halves of 20 minutes)
High School (2 halves of 25 minutes)

Game Time and Level:

Game 1- Middle School 3:15 to 4:00 PM

Game 2- High School 4:05-5:00 PM

Game 3- Middle School 5:10-5:55 PM

Game 4- High School 6:00-6:55 PM

Players registered with a team will receive their schedule and game time by email. We encourage all players and team captains to attend all games!

Registration Details:
Max 12 players per team
$48 per team (with team name)
$4 per individual player
$8 free agent (we will help place them on a team)
$2 per spectator (please bring cash on event days)

Equipment (Required):
Soccer cleats or turf shoes
Shin guards
Light and dark shirt (or pinnies)
Personal water bottle

Prizes & Recognition:
Medals and trophy for the winning teams
Best team spirit award
MVP award for each division


This is more than just a tournament — it’s a fun day for our students and families to come together, cheer each other on, and support our growing soccer program.

📢📢Calling all Middle School Students!!📢📢

The CMIT South volleyball team is hosting a middle school student volleyball tournament to raise funds for their upcoming season. Get your friends, form a team, and register to play! All CMIT Middle School students are welcome to participate! If you are interested in participating but cannot find a team, you can register as a free agent. This means you would show up to the tournament each day after school and fill in for any teams who are missing players or need extra players.

The Middle School Tournament will take place June 3rd, 4th, and 5th. Games will begin right after school, and multiple games will be played each day of the tournament. The final schedule will be determined based on the number of teams that sign up.

Requirements:
- Each team must have between 6-10 players.
- Sign up your entire team using ONE registration form (link below) by May 23rd.
- Each PLAYER must pay a $10 entry fee to participate. Players may not play in any games until their entry fee is paid. The payment link will be sent to players once the team registration form has been submitted, or players can pay in cash to Coach Sears.
