Henry Happenings

January 11, 2026
Principal Message
Dear Henry Families,
It has been wonderful to welcome our students back into the building after break. Our amazing learners quickly reconnected with their routines and classmates, and it has been a joy to see the energy and engagement throughout the school.
As we prepare for the possibility of weather-related AMI (Alternative Methods of Instruction) days, we have shared important information with students and families. For students in grades K–2, information has been sent home outlining how learning would be accessed through a choice board if an AMI day were to occur. This information was included in teachers’ newsletters and sent home.
Beginning tomorrow, students in grades 3–5 will start bringing their Chromebooks home each evening. A separate letter with detailed information about Chromebook expectations and use was included in your child’s classroom newsletter, and a hard copy of this letter will also be sent home on Monday.
Please remember that we still have two traditional snow days remaining before AMI days would be implemented. However, we believe that being prepared in advance is the best approach to ensure continuity of learning for our students.

Staff Bulldog Brag
Did you know that families can recognize staff members with Bulldog Brags, just like we do for students? If you or your child notice a staff member demonstrating one of our Henry Core Values—Kind, Responsible, Persevere, or Inclusive—we invite you to share it using the button below.
Each staff member who receives a Bulldog Brag will be honored with a certificate and a special surprise. As part of our character education, it is important for students to see adults modeling these values every day—and to hear real examples of what they look like in action!
