Seniors, this is your final rehearsal before the big event! All seniors must meet in the gym for attendance. Attendance is mandatory – any seniors who do not attend practice will not be allowed to participate in the graduation ceremony that evening.
If you have extenuating circumstances that would prevent you from attending practice, please see Mr. Spencer or Mrs. Dahl at least 1 week in advance. (Note: work, family parties, sleeping in, hair appointments, etc., are not acceptable excuses for missing practice.)

Graduation Cap Decorating Guidelines
Graduation Cap Decorations – Make It Personal!
We’re excited to continue the tradition of allowing graduates to decorate their caps for the 2025 Graduation Ceremony! This is a wonderful way to showcase your personality, future plans, or to honor those who have supported you on your journey.
To ensure the ceremony remains respectful and appropriate for all attendees, please follow these guidelines when decorating your graduation cap:
🎓 Cap Decoration Guidelines:
-
Keep it school-appropriate. No profanity, explicit language, symbols, or references to drugs, alcohol, or anything offensive.
-
Positive messaging only. Celebrate your achievements, future plans, gratitude, or personal inspiration!
-
Limit 3D items over 1 inch tall. Caps must lay flat for visibility and safety. Avoid anything that sticks up too far or could fall off.
-
Secure all decorations. Tape and glue must be strong enough to last through rehearsal, the ceremony, and celebrations.
-
No lights or sound devices. These can be distracting and interfere with the ceremony.
-
Must be worn flat. Do not alter the shape or structure of the cap.
💡 Ideas for Decorating:
-
A quote that inspires you
-
Your future college, career, or military branch
-
A tribute to family or mentors
-
A creative design that reflects your hobbies or culture
Caps will also be checked during the gown/clothing check on graduation night. Any caps that do not meet guidelines may be held until after the ceremony.
We look forward to seeing your creativity shine in a respectful and meaningful way!
